Showroom, delivery and payment
Do you have a showroom?
Yes. Our showroom is at 19 Tipu Road, Flat Bush, Auckland. We're open Monday to Saturday 11am – 7pm and Sunday 2pm – 7pm. Pop in during opening hours, or message us first if you'd like to check something is in stock.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver NZ-wide. Delivery is $10 within the Auckland region and $25 to the rest of New Zealand. Please allow 2 business days for us to process your order. You can also pick up for free from our Flat Bush showroom.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online you can pay by card, Afterpay or Zip. In our showroom we accept EFTPOS and Afterpay.
Car seats and capsules
Do you install car seats?
Yes. When you pick up a car seat or capsule from our showroom, we'll install it in your car for free and show you how to use it.
Are your car seats approved for use in New Zealand?
Yes. Our car seats meet either the ECE R44 or the newer R129 (i-Size) standard, both of which are approved for use in New Zealand. Each product page shows which standard that seat meets.
Which car seat is right for my child?
- Newborn: a baby capsule, like the one included with our Stridex and Jogger travel systems, or a convertible car seat that starts rear facing.
- Newborn to 4 years: the Vesta convertible car seat.
- Newborn to 12 years: the Orbit 360° rotating convertible car seat – one seat for the whole journey.
- Toddlers to 12 years: our harness booster seat (from 9 months) or the Aegis i-Size booster seat (from 15 months).
In New Zealand, children must use an approved car seat until their 7th birthday. If you're unsure, message us with your child's age and weight and we'll point you in the right direction.
What's the difference between ISOFIX and seatbelt install?
Seatbelt install uses your car's normal seatbelt, so it works in any car. ISOFIX clicks into metal anchor points built into most newer cars, which makes installation quicker and easier to get right. Not sure if your car has ISOFIX? Check the gap between the seat base and backrest, or ask us.
Do I need a base for the Stridex capsule?
No. The capsule installs with your car's seatbelt on its own. A base is optional and stays in the car, so the capsule just clicks in and out. You can add a seatbelt base for $40 or an ISOFIX base for $65.
Prams and strollers
What's the difference between the Stridex 2-in-1 and 3-in-1?
Both have the same pram, with a bassinet for newborns and a reversible seat for older babies. The 3-in-1 also includes a baby capsule that clicks onto the frame, so it works as a full travel system. Choose the 2-in-1 if you already have a capsule or car seat you're happy with.
Can I try a pram before I buy?
Absolutely. Visit our Flat Bush showroom to push it around, try the fold and check it fits in your boot.
Warranty and returns
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. Everything we sell comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing faults. Normal wear and tear isn't covered. If something isn't right, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Can I return something?
Yes, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 7 days. Contact us first and we'll walk you through it. Return shipping is paid by the customer. See our Refund Policy for full details.
