FAQ For the Crown Capsule

Can the Crown capsule be used without a base: Yes the capsule can be installed into the car using a seatbelt alone. The base is always recommended however, for easier installation, safety and fitting.

Can I put the Crown capsule into a stroller: The Crown comes with two slots for capsule adapters. The slots can not take every adapter though, as it depends on the manufacturer. It can be used with most Maxi-Cosi and adjacent strollers but it is best to check with the stroller retailer.

What is ISOFIX can I use it?: ISOFIX is the premier installation method for car seats. It is faster, easier and more secure than the typical seatbelt and top tether and it reduces wrong installation which 80% of NZ parents do when installing their car seat. To check for ISOFIX please locate in the rear two seats for ISOFIX tags or buttons or check online.

How do I install ISOFIX: Once you have located the ISOFIX point, line the car seat and the points with the ISOFIX extenders and press and push them into place till you hear a distinct click and you see the red tabs turn green. Then push the car seat to tighten and you are finished. Remember to extend the leg extension as well.
