Designed and tested in the Netherlands, to meet the latest in European safety standards, the Ranger 360 I-Size Car Seat provides high-level protection, ease of use, and durability for the long haul.

• I-Size Safety Standards: Compliant with R129 (I-Size), the Ranger 360 offers a 25% improvement in head and neck protection, compared to most NZ carseats which hold R44 safety standards. Addtionally R-129 has strict requirements on side impact testing, R44 however has no requirements on side impact testing and uses an older crash dummy to test results. R-129 also optimises child safety based on height, not just weight.
• Extended Rear-Facing Capacity: Rear-facing configuration is supported up to 4 years (105 cm in height), which research shows can reduce injury risk by over 50% in frontal collisions.
• Multi-Layered Side Impact Protection: Built with side impact protection and reinforced by a steel frame, it is designed to protect vital areas. Data shows that enhanced side impact protection can reduce forces on a child’s head and torso by up to 40% in side impacts.
• 360-Degree Rotation: Switch between rear-facing (Required minimum of 15 months) and forward-facing with ease, providing versatility and extra safety. • What is I-Size(R-129): I-Size also known as R-129 is the highest and strictest safety standard in the world. Updated from the more widely used R44 it includes additional requirements and changes such as side impact testing, height based classifications, extended rear-facing classifications, ISOFIX requirements and advanced crash dummy testing. Our certification also comes from the Netherlands (E4).
• Is the Ranger 360 safe?: The Ranger 360 is as safe as safe can be, it has the highest safety certification available in NZ and stands head and shoulders above the standard car seat in NZ using other safety standards.
• What is ISOFIX can I use it?: ISOFIX is the premier installation method for car seats. It is faster, easier and more secure than the typical seatbelt and top tether and it reduces wrong installation which 80% of NZ parents do when installing their car seat. To check for ISOFIX please locate in the rear two seats for ISOFIX tags or buttons or check online.
• How do I install ISOFIX: Once you have located the ISOFIX point, line the car seat and the points with the ISOFIX extenders and press and push them into place till you hear a distinct click and you see the red tabs turn green. Then push the car seat to tighten and you are finished. Remember to extend the leg extension as well.
